In the words of Cora Spearman, CEO of Coradorables.com

Ria Baldevia is a lively performer, talented musician, forward thinking entrepreneur, philanthropic savvy businesswoman, blogger and author. Now a world traveler, Ria was born and raised on the Pacific island of Guam in a very small town (village), with big dreams and big ideas. She was encouraged to spread her wings and fly and literally that she did. She studied in Guam and Busan, South Korea for her high school education, graduated from Trinity College with honors in economics, and returned to South Korea to work as a teacher after college.  Ria currently happily dances, creates, motivates and resides in Oahu, Hawaii.

Ria  is the creator and author of the children’s adventure series, Meena and Friends (please visit www.MeenaAndFriends.com and like us on facebook!). Meena and Friends’ first book, Meena’s Magical Present, is a multi-media extravaganza for children on iTunes. Melding appealing artwork, child-friendly text and a world experience theme, the new app represents the future of children’s books in the 21st century. The intriguing interface allows parents to explore adventures with their children. The series has multimedia voice recording capabilities which makes it a magical and interactive gift for those who are away from their little loved ones.  Stay tuned for more magical adventures from Meena & Friends!

Ria Baldevia is the creator of the blog I love Hawaii by Ria which currently has 9,500 plus fans and growing daily on Facebook. Ria will be launching a new venture under the I Love Hawaii by Ria umbrella in November 2011.

An established and ever evolving dancer in the local Hawaii latin dance scene, Ria has competed in  ballroom and salsa competitions with vim and vigor. She especially enjoys performing the Cha Cha Cha and has  been given the nickname Fierce Chasse by her ballroom and salsa peers for her divaliciousnes &  fierceness on the dance floor. Literally known to hypnotize with her eyes (or smize) and set sparks with her stilletos on the dance floor. She visually and emotionally is a sight to be seen. She started dancing in 2008 under Greg ‘the Salsaman’ Henry (salsa) and Carlos Chang (International Latin Ballroom). Her current salsa partner is 2x Hawaii Salsa Champion Da Lion of Judah.

Ria is the Founder & Principal of  The Sensus Group, a Hawaii-based digital marketing & consulting boutique company that specializes on practical solutions for online branding and  social media publishing. In this arena she enjoys blogging about digital anthropology (with a humorous twist–utilizing stick figures). She also generously gives her time and energy to helping women entrepreneurs to become more technologically sound and establish their presence in cyberworld.

Ria loves life. She loves to travel, try different dishes and share her adventures with everyone she meets via an online audience. Ria is currently a huge fan of the minimalist lifestyle (much due to necessity and a renewed sense of consiousness) and  thus has decided to get rid of all major furniture such as a bed and couches. Instead of a couch, she has opted to build a dance studio in her apartment. Utilizing digital media, she plans on creating/choreographing different forms of artistic expression and sharing with the whole world from her very own home studio.
